Altoona, Pennsylvania Frederick F. Kirk 1955 — 2024 Fred Kirk was born in Newport, Rhode Island. He was the son of Frederick Kirk and Elizabeth A. Kelly. He married Glory D. Kirk (Mellott) July 2004, in addition to his wife surviving are brothers, Dave (Jody), Darrin (Jennifer); sisters, Lisa Schepps and Tracy Eckenrode (Chris); sons, Bradley Kirk (Amanda), Brandon Kramer (Toni), D.J Kramer (Jess); and many nieces and nephews. Frederick attended Altoona High. His life took many turns, but he ended back in Altoona 2002 and was a popular D.J. Captain Kirk. He was a life member of the Bavarian and belonged to most Altoona area clubs. There will be no viewing or services at his request.

Carlisle, Pennsylvania Ruth I. Snyder 1935 — 2024 Ruth I. Snyder, of Carlisle, passed away Saturday, May 4 at Church of God Home, Carlisle at the age of 88. Born in Carlisle, PA she was the daughter of the late Erma (Hershey) Taylor. She was also the daughter of the late John Gibson and the stepdaughter of the late Harry Taylor. She was the loving wife of the late Rev. Lee R. Snyder. A graduate of Carlisle High School's Class of '53, Ruth was a lifelong member of the First Church of God's Women's Ministry and was always supportive of her late husband's career in the ministry. She was born on April 21, 1937 in Nicktown, PA, the eldest of nine children, to the late Herman and Louise (Lantzy) Weiland.
