The school is very outdated in many aspects. To begin with, the dorms are old. So there's always a heating problem. Once you submit fifty worksheets explaining the heating issues in your dorm, you're met with a disgruntled maintenance man who clearly shows he doesn't want to help you.
The food in the cafeteria is the only food on campus. You have no other option but to go to the dining hall. They do not accommodate folks who have allergies or who are lactose intolerant, etc. They don't get nutritious ingredients very often. Nothing is actually cooked. The eggs they use are Sysco Liquid Eggs. It's pretty bad. Pizza and pasta are the core types of food you see from 11 am to 7 pm. I avoid any meat here. The hours for eating are weird.
If you're from any city, this school experience will disappoint. CNCC is so outdated and needs to step up its approach to campus life and the dining experience.

My daughter went to this school for the ranger program. She failed the handgun phase. She was only given 2 chances. Then they told her to go home & still billed her $8,800 for the semester. They are clearly not there to help the students succeed. She was on the clay shooting team in high-school & did great qualifying with the shotgun & rifle. As soon as you fail an area they send you home.l & if it's past the drop date you owe. How convenient for them.
