STUDENT TRAVEL OPPORTUNITIES

ITALY 2025

We are excited to announce that the registration deadline for the 2025 Italy Trip has been extended! Parents of current Sophomores and Juniors students now have until September 13th, 2024, to register their child for this unforgettable experience.

Please note that parents are also welcome to join the trip, but spots are limited.

JAPAN 2025

This coming June, all members of the classes of 2026, 2027, and 2028 have an amazing travel opportunity available to them. As part of the MyTrack Engineering and MyTrack Computer Science programs, we will be traveling toJapanfor a STEM-centric week of science exploration and cultural experiences! We have a nearly full group of travelers, but still have a couple of spots open. GREECE

This spring break we are going to Greece! Come explore ancient ruins, cruise through the Saronic Islands, and take a tour of historic Athens. Students and parents are welcome. COUNSELING DEPARTMENT

University of Cincinnati Group Campus Visit

The Counseling Department is excited to announce that we are planning a trip to the University of Cincinnati! Students in the Classes of 2025, 2026, and 2027 and invited to sign up to join us on a group campus visit on Wednesday, September 25th. Below are the details for the trip:

Date: Wednesday, September 25th

Departure from Padua: 5:30 a.m.

Method of transportation: Baron Bus

Arrival at Cincinnati: 10:00 a.m.

Students will take a walking tour of campus and have a brief overview from the Admissions Office.

Lunch: Students will be asked to bring a packed lunch with them to eat on the bus on the trip back to Padua.

Dress Code: Padua dress down. Please wear comfortable walking shoes and bring weather appropriate clothing, as we will be outdoors for our tour.

Arrival back at Padua: Approximately 5 p.m.

Cost for the trip: $30

We need to have at least 30 students signed up for the trip in order to make the trip happen, so please use the link below to sign up. Students must bring their signed permission form and fee to Counseling no later than Thursday, September 19th. Students will be responsible for any work missed while out of the building. College Application Workshops

The College Counselors will be hosting College Application Workshops on the following dates:

Wednesday, September 25th – from 8 a.m. until 8:45 a.m. during Delayed Start

Friday, October 18th – all day in the library, drop in during Study Hall

College Representative Visits at Padua

College Representatives visit Padua each fall and meet with students to discuss important majors, college programs, admissions criteria, scholarships and application procedures. Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors are invited to attend these visits. Students are able to sign up via Naviance and will receive a pass to excuse them for class. Sign-ups close the day before the scheduled visits and it is the student’s responsibility for any work that they miss while they are at the information session.

The Ohio Charity Foundation Inc. provides numerous $1,000 scholarships for Ohio Catholic students (grades nine through twelve) attending Catholic High Schools in Ohio.
