Queenmaker: Season 1 | Rotten Tomatoes (1) Chad de Guzman TIME Magazine Queenmaker is dirty politics at its sleekest. Jan 3, 2024 Full Review Queenmaker: Season 1 | Rotten Tomatoes (2) Craig Mathieson The Age (Australia) The storytelling is expansive and the pacing variable, but the tricks of the fixer trade are highly watchable and the eventual friendship between the two women is genuinely forged. May 5, 2023 Full Review Queenmaker: Season 1 | Rotten Tomatoes (3) Jae-Ha Kim Jae-Ha Kim (Substack) One of the best K-dramas of the year, "Queenmaker" is the latest superb female-centric series led by women in their 40s and 50s. It is fast-paced, nail-bitingly good and a political thriller with plenty of twists and turns. Rated: 4/4 Jul 27, 2023 Full Review Queenmaker: Season 1 | Rotten Tomatoes (4) Stephanie Morgan Common Sense Media There are also plenty of surprises in store -- just when you think you understand who each character is, and what they're capable of, a dramatic twist occurs to keep you guessing. Rated: 4/5 Apr 26, 2023 Full Review Queenmaker: Season 1 | Rotten Tomatoes (5) Pierce Conran South China Morning Post Through 11 episodes, Queenmaker unfurls a terribly entertaining political contest which takes a page from prime time melodrama, with its constant ups and downs and bitter corporate feuds. Rated: 3.5/5 Apr 19, 2023 Full Review Queenmaker: Season 1 | Rotten Tomatoes (6) Liz Kocan Decider A woman whose entire existence is devoted to spinning one family’s volatile, disastrous PR nightmares into gold? There’s a lot to be mined from that, and we’re excited to see where else it will go. Apr 17, 2023 Full Review Read all reviews

Stephen P Extraordinary drama (with or without a "K"), absolutely riveting. Restricting it to 11 episodes keeps it continuously on track. Superb performances by all the cast as well. There are a few deliberate loose ends to prepare for a 2nd season, which this show certainly deserves. Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/05/23 Full Review JP C I hesitated for a long time before seeing this South Korean drama series, then I took the plunge and what a nice surprise I was able to discover. A splendid series full of twists and a rare intelligence, gave me incredible pleasure with each episode. Moreover this series owes its value to its actresses and actors of an extraordinary veracity, to arrive at the end with an unforgettable series. The wonderful interpretation of: Moon So-ri, Kim Hee-ae and Ryu Soo-young, for me these two actresses and actors were really exceptional. Of course, the entire cast was also of high quality. To end my feelings on this series, the direction of Oh Jin-seok was also magnificent and finally the superb screenplay was by Moon Ji-young. A very great Netflix series. Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/11/23 Full Review Elvina L 11 episodes were able to weave the story efficiently. Each episode is around 1 hour ish and provides an enjoyable binge watching experience. Kim Hee Ae as Hwang Do hee is excellent. Her chemistry with Oh Kyung sook played by Moon so Ri is wonderful. I was hoping they could explore her relationship with her ex husband more but it did not subtract from the value of the drama. It is well paced, not predictable, stellar acting from main casts. Season 2 would be on the top of my list for sure. Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/10/23 Full Review Coquijoe Among the best series so far this year. Can't wait to see season 2 Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/10/23 Full Review Nandni S Interesting political drama, but certain portions have been over dramatized. Recommend for a no-brainer watch but do keep the remote handy to fast forward couple of draggy scenes. Some of the cast members have done stupendous job, especially main lead - Doo-hee but many have outdone Indian telestars in overacting. Enjoy if you have nothing better to do with your time.
