This week was just epic! With a group of 155 of my colleagues from the North we joined the HPE Aruba Networking FY24 Kickoff in sunny Barcelona. We discussed priorities, strategy and exchanged ideas…all while having fun. Great location, great organization and great energy. What else can I say other than….HPE Aruba is a great place to work right now.👊🏻Sherifa Hady Tine Sonne Kops Rikard Utkovic Dobias Van Ingen ✔️ Martijn Koning Kelly Oblitas Ingrid Nilsson Therese Backen Lau

Have you ever attended a tech event feeling like you’ve wasted your time? You cannot let this happen at #NoCodeTechSummit 🧏🏾♀️🧏🏾Here are 5 ways to maximize NCTS! 1. Plan Ahead: Before attending NCTS, review the agenda and identify key sessions, or speakers that align with your interests and goals. Planning ahead allows you to make the most of your time and ensures you don't miss out on valuable opportunities to ask questions or start meaningful conversations.2. Network Strategically: Take advantage of networking opportunities to connect with professionals, speakers, and fellow attendees. Don't be afraid to start conversations or exchange contact information and make sure to be polite while doing it.3. Stay Informed: Keep yourself updated on the latest trends, technologies, and industry news before the event. This knowledge will not only improve your understanding of the discussions but also help you to actively participate in conversations, making your overall experience more fulfilling.4. Participate in the activities: Actively participate in the CV clinic where HR experts can review your CV and make career recommendations alongside the transition station where you can speak to experts in various fields. Finally, remember to check out the sponsor booth for their products and offerings!5. Follow Up Post-Event: The connections you make at NCTS shouldn't end when it concludes. After the event, follow up with your new contacts through email or professional networking platforms. Express your appreciation for the interaction, share any relevant resources, and show interest in maintaining the connection for potential future collaborations. We hope this will help you maximize your experience this weekend at #NoCodeTechSummitYou can still get your tickets here:https://lnkd.in/g3p7NKvz

🌟✨💡 They say necessity is the mother of invention, but in this tale, a business case and a sharp eye for AI's potential fathered a pivotal moment in telecommunications in New Zealand. Benjamin Relf 🇳🇿☁'s journey, shared over ☕ #95 of my#99coffees, weaves a narrative rich with ambition, resilience, and serendipity. In 2002, Ben’s career foundation was laid with an apprenticeship in telecommunications. By 2004, after enriching his life with a big "Overseas Experience", Ben found not just global insights but also his future wife, Stela, on a strawberry farm—a love story interwoven with fate, as they share the same birthday. ❤️ This Bulgarian rose became his partner in life following Ben back to NZ. 🌹After returning to NZ in 2004, Ben joined Connect NZ marking the start of his sales career. Here, under the leadership of Karl Rosnell he embarked on a path that saw him receiving a significant commission check within a year. Ben developed his talents, working alongside colleagues like Rodney Featherstone. I remember meeting Ben at Polycom party hosted by Deane Jessep where we discovered some shared background including our connection to eastern europe and middle east. The journey took Ben through roles at Avaya working with Martin Hatcher and alongside colleagues like Melina Musumeci and at NEC Corporation where he worked for Steve Bower before returning back to Connect NZ.Navigating his career in sales, Ben's journey was marked by the highs and lows typical of the field, magnified by the responsibility resting on his shoulders. As the sole provider for his wife and their three daughters, he faced significant stress from the unpredictable nature of sales. The COVID-19 restructure made things even worse.A pivotal moment came when Ben attended a webinar that introduced him to Dialpad. This event sparked his interest in Dialpad AI strategy and integrations. Motivated by what he learned, Ben reached out to the ANZ director of Dialpad - best decision of his career. Tasked with writing a business case for expansion into NZ, his proposal caught the attention of the global sales head, who, despite having no immediate plans for NZ, recognized Ben as someone they needed if they were to venture into this market. An hour after their meeting, Ben received an offer to lead Dialpad's launch in NZ.Under the leadership of Gerard D'Onofrio and Tenshi Adachi, Ben collaborated with a dedicated team, including Donny Chai & Srinivas Madhi to grow Dialpad in NZ. He also forged significant relationship with Kordia, which played a crucial role in Dialpad NZ rapid growth, making it the fastest-growing region in ANZ, maintaining key relationships with amazing Kordia team Aaron Olphert, Murray Goodman, Erron Jones, Andrew Crawford & others. As I'm awaiting Ben's verdict on the coffee I brewed at BizDojo I can relate to his story of backing oneself in sales, which I am doing with Streamgenius.ai with Jennifer Michtavy & Blacklock Security with Nilesh Kapoor.

🌟 Reflecting on an extraordinary week at the 2024 #TCEA Convention and Exposition, my heart is overflowing with gratitude, and my camera with snapshots of unforgettable moments. The convention was a vibrant hub, uniting educators, IT professionals, and visionaries from Texas and beyond, including Oklahoma and Kansas. A big thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth, enriching this experience with your presence and engagement. One standout moment was witnessing the latest in virtual reality educational tools, illustrating how immersive learning can transform the classroom experience. Innovations like these underscore the potential of technology to revolutionize education. This event was more than a gathering; it was a testament to the collective dedication to support our teachers, IT staff, CTOs, and decision-makers across Texas and neighboring states. The technology and resources showcased are crucial for empowering educators and ensuring they have the tools to guide, support, and teach our children effectively. My journey throughout this convention has been profoundly enriching. Reconnecting with partners and friends, meeting potential new customers, and witnessing the overwhelming support from manufacturers for our educators has been nothing short of inspiring.🚀 As we look forward to the future, Weaver Technologies remains committed to transforming your K12 challenges into opportunities with cutting-edge IT solutions, precisely when and where they're needed most. Let's continue to inspire and be inspired, to innovate, and to foster meaningful partnerships.
