Here at The M Center for Pediatric Wellness, we focus on holistic healing for all children. Our Functional and Integrative Medicine approach helps heal exceptional children as well as keep all children healthy so they can grow to their full potential. The M Center was founded by two mothers on a mission, Dr. Maia and Dr. Monica. After walking through the experience of healing our own children with a Functional Medicine approach, we discovered our children were a catalyst to the realization of our life mission – to share our expertise, insight, and healing approaches with other families like our own.Since we have personally experienced Autism, ADHD, Anxiety, Sensory Processing Disorder, and learning difficulties, we truly understand the physical, mental, and financial stresses that are placed on the entire family. It is our mission to offer a medical home for all families, so they may be heard and cared for.By combining our skills, expertise, and experiences, the concept of healing from the heart was born.   Pediatricians, advocates, tech companies, and students joined the Summit on Social Media and Youth Mental Health yesterday hosted by AAP's Center of Excellence. Summit attendees heard updates on the latest research from Center Co-Medical Directors Dr. Jenny Radesky and Dr. Megan Moreno, heard from Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA)’s Assistant Secretary for Mental Health and Substance Use Dr. Miriam Delphin-Rittmon, and listened to a panel featuring tech executives and youth from the Center's Youth Advisory Panel.
