What to Eat at Barclays Center, 2016 Edition (2024)

Bruce Ratner's massive, rust-colored venue offers several great concessions with a "Brooklyn taste." Guests can choose from options like artisan pickles, smoked-meat sandwiches, Sicilian-style slices, and fancy hot dogs. Classic stadium treats like popcorn and pretzels are also available. Here's a guide to what to seek out at Barclays Center:

Barclay center's five standouts

Williamsburg Pizza: Last year, Williamsburg Pizza replaced both outposts of L&B Spumoni Gardens at Barclays. Its kiosk serves all square grandma-style pies just like Spumoni. The pies are baked in cast iron pans and include options like a classic grandma (margherita); tartufo with mushrooms and truffle oil; pepperoni; and plain. [Section 15 and 206]

Calexico: The popular Brooklyn-based Mexican restaurant has two concession stands serving soft tacos stuffed with battered and fried fish. You can also order chips and guac, or a messy, but tasty nacho plate. Although this food is not exactly good for you, this is one of the lighter options at Barclays Center. Brooklyn Bangers & Dogs: Sausages and hot dogs from Saul Bolton, the Michelin-starred chef behind Saul and Red Gravy. Make sure to order the white cheddar bratwurst, which has an unexpected, peppery kick. [Section 9 and 225]
